Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. This is just one of the many verses that reminds me that God made me and put me on this earth for a purpose. Back in July I went to a College Conference in Springfield, Missouri. It was the last day there and God really spoke to my heart that weekend in all four preaching services. But the fourth message really hit home in my life at the time. The preacher preached on Psalm 90:12. He said “How are you living your life today?” “Are you spending time with God everyday, or on your Facebook or texting everyday?” “Are you wasting your days or putting them to good use?” “What will you do for God the rest of 2012 and the years ahead?”
God broke my heart that day because I knew I wasn’t numbering my days wisely and doing my best for God.
I just want to ask you, “What will you do for God in 2013?” I don’t know what will happen in your life or my life this year only God does. In James 4:14 says, Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. So are you wasting or numbering your days?
