Be Still and Know That I Am GOD!

Last night when I was doing my devotions, I was reading a devotional book called, Finding God In Hidden Placesby Joni Eareckson Tada. The short story I read last night was about Inside Silence. She used Psalm 46:10a which says, Be still, and know that I am God I’m just going to let you read it for yourself,
Here’s the link to it http://books.google.com/books?id=LEvko5CRap0C&pg=PA31&lpg=PA30&ots=MLKrFKgxsH&dq=finding+god+in+hidden+places+inside+silence&output=html_text
The paragraph that spoke to me the most was the last one.

It’s a crazy world and life speeds by at a blur, yet God is right in the middle of the craziness. And anywhere, at anytime, we may turn to Him, hear His voice, feel His hand, and catch the fragrance of Heaven. You can be still and know that He is God. And you don’t have to break your neck to find out.

That is so true, you don’t have to go through a trial to know that God will be there with you always, helping and guiding you along the way. Being still as Joni says is hard to do. So how are you doing in the area of being still and knowing that God is God?
