I was reading in Joni Eareckson Tada’s new devotional book called, “Beside Bethesda.” At the end of day five she wrote this amazing thought that encourages me.

“There are no random events in the lives of God’s dearly loved, highly prized sons and daughters. Everything-even the most difficult things-will fit into a pattern for our good. He works behind us, ahead of us, beneath us, above us, and within us. No matter how we view ourselves, we are a masterpiece of His grace.”

When I think about this thought in my own life it overwhelms me. To know that there are no random events in my life. God knows what’s going to happen before I do. Also to think I am a masterpiece of His grace IS VERY humbling
