Tonight is a night to Praise the Lord! After waiting for what seemed like weeks, my doctor called and gave me the answer I was longing to hear! He told my mom, “Abigail can be asleep during the DBS surgery.”

So tonight when my parents told me the long awaited news, I did what any woman undergoing brain surgery would do, I joyfully cried. 

What an answer only God could give to a fearful daughter of His. 

I couldn’t help but think of Psalm 31:24 which states, “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

This week my mom and I have been listening to the song called, “What Faith Does.” The chorus goes like this. 

“Faith sees the invisible. Believes the impossible.  Receives the incredible no matter what was. Faith moves the unmovable, Proves the unprovable, for anyone willing to trust. Believe and you’ll see what faith does.”
