Delight Thyself in The Lord

All of us can relate to grief and pain and life struggles all in different levels. You may be going through a dark valley right now. May be God’s telling you I created you for this reason. Although at times that can be hard to hear. He has a purpose for all of us. I still have to remind myself that God is in control and there’s a reason He allowed this to happen in my life. The Bible says in Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Delight means to be soft or pliable, that is, (figuratively) effeminate or luxurious:–delicate (-ness), (have) delight (self), sport self.
Are we being pliable or are we hard clay? I hope this song is a blessing to you!

Verse 1
Grief and pain oft betray countless times I’ve been dismay, from all the darkness life struggles bring, I may look so very marred for these battles will leave scars but what you see is only how it seems.

Chorus
There just reminders to other weary souls that whatever life may bring God is in control. These scars are not a picture of the pain that I’ve walked through there just reminders of what God can use

Verse 2
Some are painful some are deep but these scars I bear on me are reminders of the power of The Lord. I have read what He can do and I’ve found that it’s all true. For every wound He pours His healing ore

There just reminders to other weary souls that whatever life may bring God is in control. These scars are not a picture of the pain that I’ve walked through there just reminders of what God can use
(I may look battered with all these scars it may seem that life for me has been to hard
These scars are not a picture of the pain that I’ve walked through there just reminders of what God can use)
